peerScholar was co-created by Dwayne E. Paré and Steve Joordens, Ph.D of the University of Toronto Scarborough. Although originally created to help administer writing assignments in large classrooms, peerScholar has been adapted for use in smaller classrooms and seminar-based courses. As research scientists, Dwayne and Steve have, from the start, been interested in making sure that peerScholar is an evidence-based assessment tool.
