Masterdisk, founded in 1973 and owned and operated by expert engineer Scott Hull since 2008, is “one of the most enduring mastering facilities in the world” (Mix magazine). The NYC studio has mastered many of the world’s most famous records, and continues to master for major labels, indie labels and independent artists. Masterdisk masters for vinyl as well as digital: they have one of only a few existing Neumann VMS-80 lacquer cutting lathes on-site, and the expert engineers to use it to the best of its formidable capabilities.

Chicago Mastering Service is a full-service analog and digital audio mastering studio. Our 1400 square foot facility is located on Chicago's near west side. We offer mastering services for CD and vinyl, as well as dub plate cutting. Our primary goal is to offer high-quality mastering services to the independent music community. To this end, we offer a control room with superb acoustical characteristics, the highest quality equipment and an empathetic approach to the diverse sonic goals and needs of independent musicians.
