"Pecce" is the sobriquet of Tiziano Peccenini, an Italian entrepreneur and educator. Pecce is known for his work in for-profit education: in 1968 he pioneered the flipped classroom and, under the name of Wall Street Institute and then Wall Street English, went on to establish a network of over 450 English-learning centres in 28 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. The company has provided instruction to over 3 million people. Today, the Pecce group comprises a portfolio of properties, a personal and professional development seminar business, an organic pizzeria opened in Venice in 2016, and a small amount of self-help book publishing. The businesses may be diverse but the enterprise as a whole has a single purpose: to promote the wellbeing of people and planet.
