Mountain View Credit Union is a member-owned, community-based financial institution with 12 branches and assets of $640 million. Mountain View is headquartered out of Olds, and serves over 15,000 personal, business and agriculture members in twelve communities. The credit union opened its first branch in Cremona in 1943. Mountain View Credit Union has continued to grow over our 70-year history, and now employs 115 people throughout Central Alberta. As a member-owned organization, we share a portion of our profits with our owners: our credit union has paid over $17.4 million in Profit Sharing to our members since 1988. Mountain View provides a complete line of banking services, including demand accounts, investments, financing, insurance, business banking, and 24-hour on-line and mobile banking. We invest directly in our areas through donations, sponsorships and scholarships - Mountain View Credit Union contributed over 3.5% of our pre-tax profit in 2014.
