Owner Chuck Staley (a.k.a., The Porkchop) is a people pleaser who stumbled upon a perfect career match at age 15 with his first restaurant industry job. I love making people happy, he admits, I strongly believe in putting out a great product and standing behind what I do. With customer service and food quality as focal points, Peach & The Porkchop showcases fresh, all-natural ingredients, which are sourced locally as much as possible. We call it Roswells Family First Restaurant because one of the reasons we started the restaurant is for kids to be able to get the same high-quality foods as adults, he explains. He, his wife Alyssa (a.k.a., The Peach) and their children live in Roswell, a mile from the restaurant, and are passionate supporters of the local community as well as fans of healthy food. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Staley worked at several bars in restaurants in Vail, Colorado, before purchasing his first restaurant there in 1994 at age 24. At that restaurant, Doolittles 19th Hole, he met Jackson, Mississippi-born Alyssa in 1997; the couple married in 2000, lived in Pittsburgh for several years while Staley worked in commercial real estate, then moved to Atlanta in 2007. Staley is happy to have returned to the restaurant industry and opened Peach & The Porkchop in 2014.
