PeaceSystems was conceptualized and established by a group of international experts who develop "peace systems". The need for such an organisation grew out of debate between people collaborating in this field. Their shared experience and views were that there is a need for an organisation that can provide a long term platform for more concerted collaboration & knowledge sharing, expertise development, and advocacy in this field. As a result, PeaceSystems was established in 2014. It combines the extensive expertise of people who have dedicated their professional lives to development in this field.
