Our Mission: The mission of the Peace Appeal Foundation is to assist national stakeholders in the design and implementation of peace and national change processes. The aim of this work is to achieve agreed, fair and just outcomes, ending violent political conflict. Our Approach: The Peace Appeal Foundation works by invitation. In collaboration with local and international partners, we help stakeholders develop peace and national change processes that are long-term and multi-faceted. These processes resemble "ecosystems", involving a multiplicity of interdependent individual and institutional actors, initiatives and ideas. Our efforts encompass three distinct, but mutually reinforcing elements: Peace Structures- work with local partners to catalyze and develop institutions and other formal, as well as informal, structures to support dialogue and negotiations. Knowledge Resources - assist stakeholders in developing and disseminating the broad range of research tools, new research and existing information needed to enhance effective peace and conflict transformation efforts. Human Capital - support key local actors and changemakers in facilitating and advising national change processes and fielding international experts as requested and appropriate.
