David S. Lamar, P.E. is a privately owned civil engineering design and consulting firm located in the Jefferson Park Commercial Offices at the intersection of Summit Blvd. and Spanish Trail in Northeast Pensacola. We provide professional civil engineering services to private, government and institutional clients in Florida and Alabama. We specialize in the design of attractive, functional, cost effective solutions to land development challenges and assist our clients navigate the maze of regulations required to bring their projects to completion. Our principal, David S. Lamar, P.E., has been a registered Professional Engineer (PE) for 25 years. He graduated from Auburn University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree. He also earned a Master of Engineering Degree in Construction from the University of Florida. After serving ten years in the United States Air Force, Mr. Lamar returned to his hometown in 1984 to continue his career a professional civil engineer. Mr. Lamar was associated with two prominent local civil engineering firms, Nichol Engineering Associates and Carlan Consulting Group, Inc. before establishing his own firm in 1997. Since its founding, David S. Lamar, P.E. has provided a wide variety of professional civil engineering services to over 70 different clients and completed over 140 projects.
