We have designed products for many customers in different market sectors covering industrial, utilities, consumer goods, leisure, telecomms, automotive, medical and military. We can also provide enclosure designs, equipment housing designs for electronic packaging. We can also produce PCB layouts and electronics through our partners. Here at PD Components Ltd we specialise in effective design solutions and production engineering to arrive at a ready for manufacture state with full documentation. If you have any problems with any current designs, we can help to improve on the design and development of the product with cost effective solutions tailored for the intended manufacturing process. We also design for severe service when needed providing designs for extreme weather or abuse, submersion etc. Some plastic components are subjected to extreme forces and have been tested to withstand extreme pressure beyond their design specification. Our focus is design for manufacture and eliminating any technical issues which incur unnecessary costs. Building prototypes is a key process in designing a product or bespoke component. Prototyping a design, invention or idea is key to making sure that the end concept is visualised correctly. We have an excellent rapid and conventional prototyping process. The prototypes are very accurate and can be produced very quickly taking seven to 10 days – subject to complexity.
