PD AeroSpace (PDAS) is a Japanese space venture company revolutionizing space transportation with fully reusable suborbital spaceplanes and advanced propulsion systems. At PD AeroSpace, we are driven by innovation and a commitment to transforming the future of space transportation. Our mission is to make space more accessible by developing innovative technologies. Our spaceplanes are designed to take off and land horizontally, functioning much like conventional aircraft. This unique capability allows us to utilize existing airports, eliminating the need for specialized infrastructure. Powered by the world's first mode switching rotating detonation engine, our spaceplanes require only one engine for both atmospheric and space flight. This eliminates the need for air launches or secondary propulsion systems, resulting in cost-effective and safe space transportation. To support our operations, we are dedicated to developing Asia's first base for manned space travel. Located at Shimojishima Airport in Okinawa, Japan, it will serve as a hub for commercial space transportation.
