Advancing the practice of geology and allied sciences and the success of our members through advocacy, education, and networking. Advocacy PCPG tracks and comments on proposed legislation and regulations that affect our membership through: Our Governmental Affairs Committee; Securing and encouraging placement of PCPG members on key Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection public advisory and stakeholder committees; Outreach to academia to support and encourage geologic science curricula in our public schools and at Pennsylvania's public and private colleges and universities; and Outreach to applicable related professional organizations to promote the use of licensed Professional Geologists. Education PCPG's Education Committee is a premier provider of educational courses relevant to your professional practice. Members receive the added advantages of discounted course fees and preferential reservations when available space is limited.
