Founded in 1989, PAWS/LA is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that assists low-income seniors and people living with HIV/AIDS keep and care for their companion pets. We serve more than 2,100 clients throughout Los Angeles County by providing a comprehensive program of animal care assistance, including veterinary care, pet food and supplies, temporary foster care and services for homebound clients such as pet food delivery, dog walking and pet transport.
