Pawsitive Support Information

Pawsitive Support is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every cat and dog thrives through direct animal care while fostering a compassionate, resilient community. Our work bridges animal welfare with human connection, creating spaces where "paws meet pages" and meaningful interaction nurtures well-being for residents of all ages. From our roots in local rescue and TNR initiatives to our current evolution, we leverage the transformative power of the human-animal bond to support mental health, reduce stress, and encourage empathy. In collaboration with the Palacios Community Hub, we provide a unique space that serves as both an animal sanctuary and a center for social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Beyond direct rescue, our programs are designed to strengthen the Palacios community by increasing access to resources that empower individuals toward self-sufficiency. We believe that when we create opportunities for people to gather around compassion, we strengthen our entire community’s fabric.
