Paul FitzSimons is a writer, film producer and script consultant. His debut feature film ‘The Gift’, starring Alan Devine, Una Kavanagh and Dawn Bradfield, premiered at the Kerry Film Festival in October 2015. Paul previously worked as a story-writer on the Irish TV Drama ‘Fair City’. Paul’s debut novel ‘Burning Matches’ is represented by literary agent Ger Nichol and is currently being considered for publication. He has written a number of others screenplays for feature-length and short films and has developed a number of TV Dramas, which were considered for production by Irish and UK producers and broadcasters. Paul is currently working on a feature film script and on his second novel. He also runs the script-editing service ‘Courier Twelve’ for film and TV writers (www.couriertwelvescripts.com). His short stories are published in ‘Who Brought The Biscuits’ by The Naas Harbour Writers. Paul is a regular contributor to the writing resource website writing.ie.
