Bachelor of Arts - BA (Wanting to further my broadcast education, I enrolled in DJ trade school. When I went there, it was Midwest Broadcasting School, but they were absorbed by Columbia College I am told. It was nine months, three times a week, four hours a night, with two teachers and only two graduates, so we had intense education. My teacher was Jim Channel, aka Captain Whammo. We learned voiceovers, tv and radio commercials, camerawork, running the board and more. Got my license as a DJ in 1980 from the FCC.)
1979-1982Trade (Midwestern Broadcasting School is a trade school now part of Columbia College of Chicago. We had intense 3 night a week, four hours a night studies in a working studio learning TV and radio broadcasting, including Public Service announcements, TV camera work, running the board, writing spots, cutting and splicing tape, creating demo tapes. This was a nine-month trade school course, that got me a job in radio.)
