Pattern is developing PPI-100, an immune-reprogramming therapeutic that mobilizes innate immunity to overcome the key immune failures that drive both cancers and infectious diseases. Capitalizing on extensive nonclinical and clinical data, PPI-100 is being developed for different oncology indications. Pattern's initial focus is on the perioperative setting — a large market opportunity to address the ~40% relapse rate in cancer patients within five years of surgery — and the company intends filing a regulatory submission to commence a clinical study in this indication in 2026. PPI-100 builds on the proven safety and efficacy of a predecessor product, which received regulatory approval and widespread clinical use in various ex-US markets for infectious diseases. Additionally, this past year a dose-escalation treatment & testing program focused on late-stage cancer patients has been conducted with the earlier product at a German cancer center, which has generated very useful de-risking safety, PD and efficacy data. The new product, PPI-100, offers significant improvements and has robust intellectual property protection. Pattern collaborates with leading institutions including Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital, MD Anderson, University of Toronto, and McGill University.
