Kelly Wearstler Studio is a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary design practice working across hospitality, private residences, workplaces and headquarters, product design, editorial, thought leadership, creative direction, and strategic brand partnerships.
For more than three decades, the studio has created work that moves between culture and commerce, art and experience, intimacy and scale, spanning hotels and restaurants, workplaces, and product collections for clients around the world.
Every project begins with the particular: the place, the people, the history they carry, and the life the work is meant to hold. The studio treats each commission as its own question rather than a style to be applied, building a language of materials, proportion, light, and form that belongs to that client alone. It remains hands-on and intimately engaged throughout, moving from atmosphere to detail with rigor at every scale. The result is work that feels inevitable in its setting and singular in the world.
Curiosity drives the practice forward, embracing technology, AI, and new materials to expand imagination and bring richer ideas into the physical world. That exploration is held in balance by craftsmanship: the artistry of the hand, materials shaped with intention, and the authority of something beautifully made.
Alongside its private residential and hospitality practice, the studio creates furniture, lighting, objects, collections, events, and brand experiences for homes and public spaces around the world. Current and recent collaborators include Dior, Bulgari, David Yurman, Airbnb, H&M Home, Serax, and Williams Sonoma.
