PATHFINDER is focused on the creation of long term value. We invest our own money, not other people's money (like private equity funds). Our philosophy impacts both the types of investments we make and how we manage our portfolio companies. Investing our own patient money allows us to invest for the long term, not just the short term private equity fund horizon. Patient money allows us to fund and pursue longer term growth and value creation opportunities for the benefit of all stakeholders, including owners, employees, and community. Since we are investing our own money, we are more judicious in our use of leverage to consummate an acquisition.
