PathBeing develops climate and agricultural projects across Africa, working with local agribusinesses to transform underused agricultural residues into biochar, healthier soils, and durable carbon removal. We co-develop projects with local partners, integrating feedstock and site development, technology deployment, field application, MRV and certification, project finance, and access to carbon markets. To date, PathBeing has signed 17 MoUs with agribusiness partners across nine African countries and conducted four early-stage field trials. Two of these—Uganda and Zambia—were formal PoCs completed in 2025 with dedicated budgets and defined validation objectives. Our next milestone is the first commercial unit: proving year-round feedstock consistency, continuous operations, audit-ready MRV, credit certification, and recurring revenue from biochar and durable carbon removal. PathBeing has been selected for programmes including Japan’s J-Partnership, FASTAR, and JETRO’s Global Startup Acceleration Program with Third Derivative.
