Patchwork Pantry Information

Patchwork Pantry has been providing services to sewing enthusiasts on Australia's Gold Coast for over a decade. Over the years it has evolved from being principally a sewing machine reseller and repairer to a provider of fabrics and expert advice in the fields of quilting and machine embroidery. Of course, we still sell sewing machines and accessories to suit all personal requirements, and are distributors for Pfaff, Brother, Janome, Babylock and Horn. Patchwork Pantry is owned and managed by Marcia McKinnon. Marcia's passion for many years has been working with fabrics in a variety of creative ways, both with hand and machine. She has many fine quilting examples on display in the shop, including a number which have won awards as well as gaining recognition in national publications such as Down Under Quilting magazine. You can see some of her quilts here. Marcia is supported by a team of enthusiasts, Diane, Jo, Leisa and Yolanda, who we are sure will pass their enthusiasm on to you. Marcia and her team's objective remains to provide you with the tools, materials, advice and training which will allow you to maximise your enjoyment in creative sewing. Marcia's devilishly handsome and quite sophisticated partner, Stuart, who coincidentally is also the editor of this website, occasionally helps out from time-to-time around the shop. Generally though he just gets in everyone's way.
