Pass the Song, Pass the Hat Information

Pass the Song, Pass the Hat is a project to create community for artists & fans during the COVID-19 crisis, and to provide financial support for the artists. We produce and host virtual and physical world events, that are livestreamed, interactive, rigorously follow social distancing guidelines, and whenever possible, include multiple artists. Programming includes Popup Porch Parties (live concerts from a backyard in Easthampton, MA, with a tiny, safe, in-person audience and an unlimited online audience); livestreamed, multi-artist music and poetry performances; and the "Songs from and for the COVID-19 Crisis" playlist on YouTube and Facebook spotlighting music created during, repurposed for, or fitting the pandemic. Platforms include Zoom, Facebook, YouTube, Crowdcast, Instagram, and more.
