Getting this party started When founders Soan and Kimberly started to plan their baby girl’s first birthday party, they had no idea they were planning much more than a quaint family gathering. They wanted a sweet and memorable birthday event to celebrate the occassion. Kimberly, an event designer, and Soan an event producer, got to work researching and skimming websites to drum up a few good ideas. A little fun here, some party favors there - A mix and match to suit their taste. It was easy for them, their jobs had them well connected in the industry and they knew which vendors to call to create their perfect memory . Easy, yet time consuming, even for them. This got them thinking: What about regular party planners? Usually people don’t have huge contact lists, and these days, who has the time. We need a solution! And here, the idea for Partysserie was born - why don’t we create an event marketplace that houses all the ideas and all the local vendors to make it happen in one place. No searching, no waiting for return calls, no weeding through multiple websites, no hours spent pinning and favoriting and pinning some more.
