Founded in 1998, Prime Time Events was created by a group of citizens that were related to the various Bowling Green events by sponsorships, civic organization and nonprofit companies. Many of the special events were in danger of folding. They were looking for resources that could keep them going. Thus PTE was created to assist the volunteer group, for example, with THe Medical Center 10k Classic to continue the event. Events assisted by Prime Time Events must be nonprofit, community related and take place in Bowling Green/Warren County. Currently, PTE assists Junior Achievement, Kids on the Block, Bellewood Presbyterian Children's Home, Hope Harbor, Habitat for Humanity and Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
