Partnerships for Forests catalyses investment into regenerative business models in the land use sector that address climate change, benefit people and protect biodiversity. Collaborative action is how we achieve change across value chains; we drive active partnership between the private sector, communities and the public sector, developing a mutual vision with shared risks and benefits. We work to mobilise significant investment into these regenerative business models by broadening what the investable world looks like: promoting profitable businesses that protect and restore forests, as well as supporting market-based solutions to transform the global supply chains of the main commodities driving land use change – for people and planet. The eight-year programme is funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), managed by Palladium, in partnership with SYSTEMIQ. It currently operates in Central, East and West Africa, South East Asia and Latin America.
