Parkware Information

Parkware is a Portuguese SME originally founded by three companies in 2016: Micro I/O, Ubiwhere and Wavecom, respectively experts on electronics, software and communication networks, already partners in Smart Cities projects at the time. The combination of complementary expertise has resulted in a low-cost, seamless and straightforward-to-install smart parking system, which has been installed in Mexico, Luxembourg, and multiple cities in Portugal (Águeda, Aveiro, Ericeira, Lisbon, Torres Vedras). This experience with parking lots, in which they have become transportation hubs where people park and then have a selection of other options to conclude their trips, brought us an improved vision towards the mobility challenges in urban environments, and particularly in today’s supply chains. The potential of increasing today’s mobility efficiency has prompted us to develop robust hardware devices, integrate emergent software technologies and explore disruptive business models. The major aim of Parkware is to bring together people or goods by providing user-centric social networking services and smart connected mobility systems. We work closely with our clients to ensure operational efficiency, improved customer experience and sustainability. The potential of emerging technologies inspires us to create new ways of creating value and exploiting business.
