What began in downtown Austin at the corner of 6th street and San Jacinto as Chef Shawn Cirkiel’s first restaurant, Parkside, featuring a new American cuisine and popular oyster bar, has since grown into three and soon to be four unique and exciting restaurants. Located behind Parkside (and sharing the same building) is the second addition to the Parkside Projects family – the backspace, a cozy and intimate neapolitan-style pizzeria Olive & June features a southern Italian menu and is located in the heart of Central Austin. It is known for its incredible patio under the wide-reaching canopy of a 150 year old live oak tree and handmade fresh pastas. And coming soon is our fourth restaurant concept Bullfight, Spanish cuisine served tapas-style located on Airport Blvd.
