Paradigm specializes in the collection, processing, analysis, management, and presentation of data relative to complex commercial and public problems. Paradigm formed in 2012 with nationally significant capabilities in the regulatory, operational, and remote sensing aspects of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and manned aviation. The company facilitates commercial and research projects using UAS in such areas as agriculture; mining and energy mineral development; forest and range management; public safety; department of defense; and communication systems. Key Accomplishments: Establishing Oregon State University and the University of Washington as FAA “public sponsors,” capable of hosting unmanned aircraft operations; Obtaining all FAA approvals and conducting flight operations for a OSU/USDA/Boeing/CHS/PARADIGM agriculture research at Hermiston, Oregon; Supporting classified research and development at a Department of Energy National Lab, relating to a Defense Department UAS program of record. Conducting major agricultural product research involving a range of remote sensing technologies. Obtaining FAA COAs for OSU; University of Washington; Boeing; and others.
