Since 1972 Para Research, Inc. has specialized in providing cost effective solutions to the IBM midrange marketplace. A leader in using new technologies, Para Research was one of the first midrange developers to make a true client/server application available to this marketplace. Today's development includes Lotus Domino as well as web based design and integration. During the 1980s, Para Research was the world's largest independent supplier of business software for the IBM System/36. Also a Value Added Reseller (VAR), Para Research won the Grand Prize in the IBM VAR/36 Contest. Para Research wrote and published an industry trade magazine called Mini. Deciding to specialize in business software systems, Para Research discontinued participation in the VAR program and Mini magazine. All energy at Para Research is now focused on the development, support and marketing of our complete line of business software solutions. Not content with past success, Para Research continues to look ahead to what software users will need in the future.
