Every office worker uses approx. 10,000 sheets of paper each year from photocopies, prints, and notebooks; rather than creating another notebook made of recycled paper, we asked, how else can paper destined to be recycled or wasted be reused? The Paper Saver was designed by Australian architect Jon Yong as a solution to his piles of design prints. The pristinely white sides of the paper begged to be used before recycling, igniting the idea for a reusable notebook with a functionally-designed steel binder to insert and secure paper, and easily write on the perfect blank sides. This not only extends the paper's life, but also helps reduce the 80,000+ trees cut down each day.
