PangeaSeed Foundation Information

PangeaSeed Foundation is an international non-profit organization acting at the intersection of art and environmentalism to further the conservation of our oceans. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities to create meaningful environmental change for oceans through science, education, and ARTivism (S.E.A.). Now more than ever, we believe the synthesis between creative expression, nature, and society can powerfully (re)connect individuals and communities with the planet's most important ecosystem: the ocean. The three pillars of PangeaSeed are Science, Education, and ARTivism. We have various programs within each of these pillars, all of which aim to bring awareness to the plight of the world's oceans. Examples include creating large-scale public murals; supporting young, emerging artists to create environmental art; and teaming up with biologists to research endangered scalloped hammerhead sharks.
