Pam Walton Productions is dedicated to telling the truth about American life. We're most interested in changing our culture's homophobic views of gay and lesbian people and in telling compelling stories about aging. We have produced and distributed Out in Suburbia, Gay Youth,Family Values: An American Tragedy, Call to Witness, Liberty: 3 Stories about Life & Death, Grassroots: Contesting Ohio, Raging Grannies: The Action League and Triptych: 3 Women Making Art. Gay Youth and its 16-page study guide are widely used and respected as among the most effective educational tools dealing with gay and lesbian adolescents. Call to Witness has helped educate and change the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and has furthered the struggle for gay and lesbian rights in mainstream American culture. From 2000 to the present Pam Walton Productions has worked closely with the Lutheran Lesbian and Gay Ministries (LLGM) to distribute Call to Witness. Their outreach has included mass brochure mailings to hundreds of Lutheran congregations and the creation of a detailed discussion guide which accompanies each tape.
