The Palm Springs Photo Festival is an intense week-long event for professional, emerging and serious advanced amateur photographers. In it's 5th year, the festival is dedicated to providing a rich program intended to inspire, educate and instill or reignite passion for the art and commerce of photography. Connect 2010 provides an opportunity to meet top photographers, curators, art directors, editors, gallery directors, ad agency creatives, educators and industry leaders in the spectacular desert environment of Palm Springs, California. Portfolio reviews, workshops with legendary photographers, cutting-edge seminars/symposiums and evening presentations by world famous image-makers. The Workshop Program offers 18 intense, remarkable classes with world-renown working photographers and educators. Most are three full days plus a 4th day morning session, beginning on March 29, 2010. Students spend three 1/2 days listening, learning, shooting and comparing notes. Instructors will work one on one with students, demonstrate his or her methods, explore his or her own work and students' work. We also offer one-day workshops during the week, including specialized lighting instruction and portfolio organization and presentation classes.
