We are Sandals Resorts.
We’ve always celebrated our home and everything that makes us quintessentially Caribbean. We've been proudly family-owned since 1981 , operating resorts across nine breathtaking islands - Jamaica, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Lucia, The Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands, Grenada, Barbados, Curaçao and Saint Vincent and The Grenadines.
We know the Caribbean because we are the Caribbean. Born and raised here, we love sharing our home with the world. Our deep knowledge of the region’s natural beauty and vibrant culture helps us bring guests closer. As we've grown, we've remained true to our founder's vision - to do things right and care for each other, our guests, and the islands we call home.
Our resorts are home to over 18,000 team members who bring passion to every experience and help to create memories that last a lifetime.
We celebrate our roots while charting a path in the Caribbean, in a way only we can. Because we are Sandals. We are Made of Caribbean.
Atlantis, Paradise Island is a lush, oceanside resort located in The Bahamas. A dynamic destination that launched 30 years ago as a first-of-its-kind modern marvel of nature and engineering, Atlantis has embarked on a new chapter tied to a meaningful connection with the ocean, Bahamian culture and the spirit of the property’s over 7,500 employees. The resort’s new, immersive programming connects guests to the rich history, art, people, food and festivities of The Bahamas.
Atlantis features four distinct properties, from the iconic Royal to the original Coral to the luxury properties, The Cove and The Reef.
The resort is built around Aquaventure, an innovative 141-acre waterscape of thrilling slides, river rides, pools, and white sand beaches. Home to the largest open-air marine habitat in the world, over 50,000 marine animals from 250 species make their home in the ocean-fed environments, from unparalleled meeting and convention space to Atlantis Marina and other resort amenities including Mandara Spa, Atlantis Kids Adventures and CRUSH, a cutting-edge teen club. The resort’s 18-hole Tom Weiskopf designed golf course and newly renovated Atlantis Casino are complemented by the property's dining options with celebrity chefs.
Dolphin Cay, the resort’s 14-acre marine mammal habitat, is a state-of-the-art education center and animal-rescue rehabilitation hospital whose first residents were rescue dolphins from Hurricane Katrina. Visitors can participate in creative, non-disruptive “interactions” that build real awareness and help fund the resort’s conservation efforts. Through guest participation, over $5 million has been generated to support environmental conservation via the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation (ABPF), a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization.
