The International Sculpture Center (ISC), publisher of Sculpture magazine, is a member-supported, nonprofit organization founded in 1960 to champion the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society. Members include sculptors, collectors, patrons, architects, developers, journalists, curators, historians, critics, educators, foundries, galleries, and museums—anyone with an interest in and commitment to the field of sculpture.
The Mission of the International Sculpture Center is to:
Expand public understanding and appreciation of sculpture internationally
Demonstrate the power of sculpture to educate and effect social change
Engage artists and arts professionals in a dialogue to advance the art form
Promote a supportive environment for sculpture and sculptors
The Henry Moore Foundation was founded by the artist and his family in 1977 to encourage public appreciation of the visual arts. Today we support innovative sculpture projects, devise an imaginative programme of exhibitions and research worldwide, and preserve the legacy of Moore himself: one of the great sculptors of the 20th century, who did so much to bring the art form to a wider audience.
