Paint & Decorating Retailers Assoc Information

The Paint & Decorating Retailers Association (PDRA) has been a part of the independent paint and decorating retailer's world since 1947. PDRA is governed by a board of directors, each of whom is the owner of an independent paint and decorating retail business. PDRA serves the independent dealer through education, membership benefits and trade shows. Through the collective power of the entire membership, many money-saving benefits are possible that dealers could not enjoy on an individual basis. The association has a long history of creating product-specific, sales-oriented seminars that train dealers and their employees how to best assist their customers, and therefore increase sales. Thousands have benefited from education seminars in paint and industrial coatings, wallcovering, decorating and faux, as well as business management training. The Board of Directors' initiative to bring top-quality, efficient education to all independent dealers has resulted in development of a new online seminar. The PDRA Coatings Specialist course eliminates the time and expense of traveling to a seminar site. This new course can be taken right in the store, during slow times or at the dealers' convenience.
