We are an internationally renowned university based in a campus that provides top quality academic, social and cultural facilities to over 17,000 students across a diverse range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree courses. AGU was established in 1919 by the National Research Council and operated as an unincorporated affiliate of the National Academy of Sciences for more than 50 years. We were independently incorporated in 1972.
