1. History In 2011 Michael Borms and Xavier Verbeke decided to create a company to bring out a new concept in packaging automation. Both bring extensive experience in various aspects of automation, in particular for the blow-molding industry. Packaumat was founded in February of 2013, after a thorough market study in Germany uncovered the customers' key needs in blow molding automation. Xavier brings to the table extensive management experience, having worked in management for different companies and industries in Belgium, Morocco and the USA. Michael has a solid engineering experience in the design of machine solutions in the packaging and other industries. Both consider professional management and engineering essential to the building of outstanding and reliable packaging machines that bring excellent value to customers. 2. Mission If you were looking to automate your blow-molding operation, very few alternatives existed. Packaumat wants to change this. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest professional solutions and the best price/quality ratio for the packaging of blow-molded products. The market told us that there is a need for reliability, flexibility and efficient use of space and man power. We have listened very carefully and have engineered solutions to fulfil these requirements.
