Natural gas from northeast British Columbia would have been be supplied to Pacific NorthWest LNG by Progress Energy Canada Ltd.; both companies are majority-owned by PETRONAS. Sinopec, JAPEX, Indian Oil Corporation, and PetroleumBRUNEI were minority shareholders in Pacific NorthWest LNG and its associated natural gas supply. Pacific NorthWest LNG was closed effective September 30. 2017.
