Chris Archer, President of Pacific Design has been with the company for over 30 years. He started his career assembling drawers while in high school. He then became a sawyer for many years as well as installing on site, working his way up to design engineer. In October of 2016, Chris purchased Pacific Design from his parents Mel and Colleen Archer. They started the business creating and selling custom furniture out of their garage over 40 years ago. In spite of continued growth, Pacific Design remains a family oriented company. Ron Currier is Chris's business partner; he has been the shop's foreman for 29 years. Many of Pacific Design's employees have been with the company for over 10 years. Dominique Archer, Chris's wife is Pacific-Design's office manager. Pacific Design upholds a reputation as one of the finest custom cabinets makers in the Northwest. The company occupies a 25000 sqf modern shop and showroom in Hillsboro, Oregon.
