PAB Akrapović is a family-run company specializing in developing and manufacturing high-tech protective helmets. It was established in 1953 and has grown considerably over the decades. We employ people with diverse knowledge and skills with a focus on knowledge about protective equipment. The company’s headquarters, R&D, and production facilities are in Buzet, Croatia. SINCE ITS FOUNDATION IN 1953 PAB Akrapović has remained a family business since its foundation. Initially the company specialized in developing and producing a variety of plastic and composite products for domestic and industrial use. Our first helmet was launched on the market in 1978. Since then, we have focused on research, development, testing, and production of premium quality protective helmets and helmet accessories for work and rescue in the most extreme conditions. Our goal is to develop and produce helmets of the highest quality in combination with comfort and functionality that ensure ultimate protection for the wearer. We achieve this with: - Our own R&D department; - Our own development and creation of all injection molds; - Our own testing laboratory; and - Our own production (97% of the finished product is produced and assembled at our facilities).
