p51interactive is the brainchild of Mark Sutton. After 10+ years working for marketing agencies and design shops, Mark struck out on his own. In 2008, he formed OPENup Marketing – an interactive agency focused on Search and Social Marketing. But a funny thing happened on the way to marketing fame – Mark got interested in programming. More specifically, Mark started tinkering with Drupal and couldn’t stop. By late 2011, OPENup Marketing had evolved into a site building and development shop. In 2012, Mark renamed the company p51interactive. The name was born from an appreciation of the machine that just might have won World War II for the allies. Mark also felt it would also provide for a great logo. Today, p51interactive is a full-service interactive design and development shop. We are rooted in great design and execute smart solutions on a daily basis.
