O.Y.S.T.E.R. (Organisation by Youth for Social Transformation and Environmental Recoup) is a youth-led NGO that began in 2009 with a clear mission: to inspire and empower young people to address critical social issues and work toward a more just and sustainable world. We believe in the power of youth to drive meaningful change. Our programs focus on key areas such as Education, Health, Environmental and Climate Change and Agriculture giving young individuals the platform, skills, and opportunities to make a lasting impact. Core Initiatives- O.Y.S.T.E.R.’s work spans several key areas: 1.Education: Enhancing access to quality education through programs like Weekend Wisdom, VIGNAN, book distribution drives, and workshops to equip youth with skills for the future. 2.Health: Promoting community health through awareness programs, mental health workshops, health camps, and education on nutrition and hygiene. 3.Environment and Climate Change: Advocating for environmental sustainability through tree plantation drives, clean-up campaigns, and promoting eco-friendly habits in local communities. 4.Agriculture: Supporting local farmers and enhancing food security through initiatives like rural development camps, workshops, and awareness programs for sustainable agriculture.
