Maker Space is a community owned and run workshop in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We are an eclectic group of makers, creatives, programmers, scientists and engineers who have set up a space to meet, work, socialise, share ideas and collaborate.
Cambridge Hackspace is a community-lead non-for-profit organisation helping makers learn, experiment and collaborate on their ideas, prototype and products.
We have a small space in the heart of Cambridge, MA catering for enthusiastic makers and hold weekly meetings where we get together and make things.
Cambridge Hackspace was started to provide a community-operated physical space where people can gather and work on their projects, have access to larger or expensive tools (like 3D printer, knitting machine and CNC), and provide a place where the community can share their knowledge. We encourage making.
We welcome everyone. Whether your thing is software, electronics, woodwork or knitting, we want to provide a space where you can meet fellow makers, to learn, and be inspired. We are setting up Peer to Peer learning so that anyone can share their knowledge, and everyone can benefit.
We hold weekly meetings for the public and you can find us meetup.com or Facebook for more up-to-date information.
