Oxford Academy Information

Empowering Every Student to Discover His Potential — One Lesson at a Time. Founded in 1906 on the scenic Connecticut shoreline, Oxford Academy is an independent, college-preparatory boarding school for boys who thrive in a personalized learning environment. Every class is designed for the student, not the other way around, ensuring that his education meets his strengths, needs, and goals. Our Oxford Method of Individualized Instruction combines one-to-one teaching with tailored academic strategies to build confidence, strengthen executive functioning skills, and help students achieve lasting success. This approach is especially powerful for students with learning differences, as it allows them to learn at their own pace while developing skills for college and life. With a diverse student body from across the U.S. and more than 20 countries, Oxford fosters meaningful cross-cultural exchange and a supportive community where each young man is known, valued, and encouraged. Whether a student seeks a fresh academic start, a highly structured path toward college, or a school that understands neurodiverse education, Oxford offers a proven way forward. 📍 Westbrook, Connecticut | College Preparatory | 30% International Students | Boarding School for Boys | One-to-One Instruction Learn more, schedule a visit, or start your application today.
