Founded in 1979 by the late Mr. Mohamed Farid Khamis, with leadership today from Ms. Yasmine Khamis. The Oriental Weavers Group is one of the world’s finest producers of machine made carpets and area rugs. With manufacturing on two continents and a workforce of over twenty thousand skilled associates, the Hospitality business is a growing part of this 600 million – 1billion dollar, vertically integrated organization. With integrity, our global designers craft each bespoke project in collaboration with the international brands and design houses we serve. Optiweave TM broadloom and area rug solutions are engineered in woven Axminster and Hand-Tufted medium. From planning to manufacturing, our associates have joined a unique family tradition, rich with decades of technical and mechanical expertise, supported by an abundance of resource, skill and product knowledge. The Oriental Weavers Group are quietly involved in the philanthropic care of others, humbly providing for the health care needs, education and wellness of local communities.
