Since 2011 we have served the market with high quality chicken immunoglobulin Y (IgY) purified from egg yolk. Immunization of chickens offers a less stressful and a non-invasive method as known from mammal immunization. It only requires daily collection of eggs, where the yolks contain the valuable antibodies.To ensure a high-quality result, Ovodan Biotech has developed a state-of-the-art technology that offers affinity purified polyclonal chicken antibody (IgY), where more than 99% of the antibodies being highly antigen specific.
