The NSW public sector includes ten departments and many agencies and organisations working together to develop policy and deliver important services such as health, education, housing, transport and infrastructure across NSW.
We are over 300,000 dedicated people who share the same values - making a difference, giving back and responding to the future.

COTA Australia is the peak body representing the almost nine million Australians over 50. For over 70 years our systemic advocacy has been improving the diverse lives of older people in policy areas such as aged care, health, retirement incomes, and more. Our broad agenda is focused on tackling ageism, respecting diversity, and the empowerment of older people to live life to the full.
For over 60 years, COTA has been the peak body representing the interests and views of older Australians. Our members are represented by COTA because we are invited to sit on a wide range of forums, committees, consumer advisory groups and research bodies, both Government and non-Government. These are groups that have the power to bring about change.
Collectively, we put people before profit, and advocate, inform & influence both Federal, State & Local Government, the business sector and the general community to deliver better outcomes for people aged 50 and over.
Our resources are Australia's guides to Aged Care and Disability Support, connecting consumers to providers.
Our mission is to enable consumers in the retirement, aged care and disability support sectors to easily access the critical information they need, in the right way, at the right time to make the best choices for themselves or their loved ones.
We do this with a spectrum of print and digital channels, including:
- The DPS Guide to Aged Care
- The DPS Guide to Disability Support
- The DPS Guide to Your Retirement Living
- The DPS Guide to Home Care
- www.agedcareguide.com.au
For those participating in the retirement, aged care, or disability support sectors, our printed guides and web portals provide invaluable guidance and information. We endeavour to have all the information they need to make the right decision, and for that information to be of the highest standard available.
For providers of services and products to these sectors, we have the right products to allow you to reach the ideal consumers at the right time. Messages and information delivered using our products will be delivered in a high-quality, reliable and ethical way that aligns with your values.
We are a trusted, well established and impartial partner to our industry and consumers.
