Created in 2003, Ouvry specializes in CBRN personal protection systems and is located in LYON. The product portfolio covers both body and respiratory protection, as well as innovative prod-ucts intended for a wide range of operators: soldiers and law enforcement staff, firefighters and rescue operators, first-responders, the public security, civil defence, ministry of health, indus-try, critical infrastructures and public transportation. After designing and manufacturing the new generation of CBRN protective clothing post-Gulf War of the 90s, the CBRN FELIN system for the French Army, Ouvry continued its innovative and eco-responsible industrial approach with filtering CBRN protective suits Polycombi®, TFI®, OC50® and OPC50® breathing mask. This choice marked a shift in the technological and capability approach of the Ouvry offer in terms of CBRN personal protection equipment (PPE). Ouvry has thus, through this system approach, brought to its offer: • Capability completeness by developing fully integrated, multi-domain and dual next-generation body protection systems. • Amplitude through the possibility of developing it and strengthening it through an incremental approach and anticipation. • Sustainability by providing a maintenance service offer and training in use and maintenance. • Eco-responsible (eco-design and product’s life cycle) and energy efficient (regional or national approach to ensure independence in production and supply). The security campus, the development of which is desired by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, by the Lyon metropolitan area, by the Lyon’s chamber of business and industry, will federate reflection and analysis, consultation and coherence, synthesis and communication in the field quite strategic, at a time when Europe must find its best and fair level of involvement, decision-making and arbitration and above all efficiency. The EDEN cluster will be one of the main creators and facilitators.
