Outside Activities (OA) connects people and purpose through outdoor experiences that heal, empower, and employ. We put veterans to work restoring America’s public lands, and lead wellness and leadership retreats that help people rebuild health, resilience, and community through time in nature. From restoring trails to leading retreats, OA transforms outdoor spaces into engines of renewal. Every project and program is designed to strengthen communities, create sustainable jobs, and open access to the healing power of the outdoors. Our partners include the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), National Park Service (NPS), Army Corps of Engineers (ACE) as well as the American Conservation Experience (ACE). Together, we’re building a nationwide model where public land restoration and human wellbeing go hand in hand. Mission: Build resilience, in veterans, communities, and the people we serve.
