(OSEL) Transportation Organization of Nicosia District is the Organization responsible to provide passenger transportation in the city and district of Nicosia. OSEL maintains a Government contract for exclusive operation of all the Nicosia District bus routes until 2020 with an option to renew until 2025. Currently OSEL employs more than 420 employees and maintains a fleet of more than 250 buses which provide with low cost fares, high frequency routes between hundreds of locations. OSEL maintains presence in several locations in Nicosia and specifically the Main Office in Makedonitissa and Bus Stations in Solomos Square, Makario Stadium, Nicosia General Hospital, and the Dhali, Arediou and Tembria villages.
